The cuts have reached into the Reality Labs division, as well as the company’s recruiting, sales, and operations departments, according to reports from high profile media outlets. During the recent GDC Festival of Gaming, Meta leadership revealed that Meta Quest usage reached an all time high in 2025, with more than 100 titles on the platform surpassing $1 million in gross revenue. This indicates a maturing software ecosystem and a dedicated user base, even as the corporate structure supporting these products is downsized.
