Emergency Response to Royal Gardens Disturbance

Concord police were dispatched to the Royal Gardens apartment complex around 10:45 p.m. on Jan. 31 after receiving reports of a violent domestic disturbance. An anonymous caller alerted authorities to the sound of screaming, breaking objects, and children sobbing. Upon arrival, officers determined that a Manchester man, Thomas Randall, had allegedly attempted to enter the residence through a window before forcing his way through the front door.

Details of the Assault and Burglary

According to police affidavits, Randall was told to leave the premises but returned shortly after. He is accused of pushing a woman to the floor, destroying her cellphone to prevent her from calling 911, and threatening to kill a second woman who was visiting the residence. During the altercation, Randall allegedly threw a cup at the witness, causing a physical injury to her shoulder. The incident, which occurred in front of four children, was partially captured on cellphone video, where Randall can be heard being confronted about his violent actions.

Arrest and Comprehensive Charges

Randall was apprehended on Feb. 2 on a warrant and faced a Concord District Court judge the following day. He is currently being held without bail on 12 charges:
