Arrest Made In Connection To Targeted Kenosha Homicide

A months long investigation into a fatal shooting on the streets of Kenosha has resulted in the apprehension of a primary suspect. The Kenosha Police Department confirmed that Kamryn Harris was taken into custody on March 6 following a coordinated effort with Illinois law enforcement agencies and the United States Marshals Service. The arrest brings a significant breakthrough in a case that began in late 2025 when a local man was gunned down in what authorities believed was a targeted attack.

Investigation Into The November 2025 Shots Fired Call

The incident dates back to the evening of November 21, 2025, when patrol officers were dispatched to the vicinity of 24th Avenue and 34th Street. Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered Christian Davis, a 47-year-old resident of Kenosha, suffering from a single gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Davis was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office. At the time, investigators urged the public to provide leads, suggesting that the shooter had specifically sought out the victim.

Harris Faces Multiple Felony Counts Following Extradition

After being located and arrested in Illinois, Harris chose to waive his right to an extradition hearing, facilitating a quicker transfer back to Wisconsin. On March 9, he was officially transported to Kenosha County to face the judicial process. The Kenosha Police Department has referred several severe charges to the District Attorney’s Office, including first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first-degree intentional homicide. Additionally, Harris faces counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
