Bvlgari and the Revival of Milanese Craftsmanship

Bvlgari made a significant stylistic pivot by introducing the Maglia Milanese Monete secret watch, marking the brand's first exploration of Milanese mesh. This rose gold timepiece utilizes a Renaissance-era jewelry technique to create a supple, seamless bracelet. The watch features an ancient coin depicting Emperor Caracalla and houses the Piccolissimo BVP100 calibre—the world’s smallest round movement. Measuring just 13.5mm across and weighing 1.9g, this movement represents a peak in miniaturization technology for 2026.

TAG Heuer’s Maritime Heritage and Technical Precision

TAG Heuer utilized the event to nod to its nautical history with the Carrera Chronograph Seafarer. This 42mm steel model features a dedicated tide indicator at 6 o’clock, powered by the newly developed in-house TH20-04 automatic movement. Additionally, the brand launched the Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph, the first in the Carrera line to feature a rattrapante complication. Crafted from Grade 5 titanium, the watch features a translucent sapphire dial and a movement comprising over 350 components, solidifying its place at the top of the Avant-Garde Horlogerie lineup.

Hublot’s Breakthrough in Sustainable "G.O.A.T." Materials

Hublot stole the spotlight with the Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition. In a radical move for luxury manufacturing, the watch case is forged from a composite of Djokovic's own Lacoste polo shirts and Head tennis racquets, reinforced with Titaplast, a high-strength polymer. The collection is color-coded by tennis surfaces: blue for hard courts, orange for clay, and green for grass. The watch is engineered to withstand the physical forces of professional play, featuring Gorilla Glass and a weight of just 56g, proving that sustainable upcycling can meet elite performance standards.
