The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) has formally integrated two cutting-edge fire and rescue vehicles into its operational fleet, marking a significant contribution from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The delivery was facilitated through a partnership with North Defence and the Luxembourg Ministry of Defense, aimed at fortifying Ukraine's civil defense infrastructure. During the official handover ceremony, SES Head Andriy Danyk emphasized that this equipment is vital for maintaining public safety as the nation’s emergency responders face an unprecedented volume of calls and hazardous conditions.

Modernization Of Poltava Region’s Emergency Response Fleet

The newly acquired specialized vehicles have been specifically assigned to the Poltava region, a critical administrative and logistical hub. These units are equipped with advanced firefighting technology and specialized rescue gear designed to handle a variety of urban and industrial emergencies. By expanding the local fleet, the SES aims to significantly reduce response times and increase the overall effectiveness of rescue missions, particularly in areas where existing equipment has been overextended due to the ongoing conflict and the resulting strain on public utilities.

Oliver North, CEO of North Defence and authorized representative of the Luxembourg Ministry of Defense, was present for the transfer, highlighting the Grand Duchy's commitment to supporting Ukraine beyond traditional military aid.
