According to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were first dispatched to a home in the 13000 block of Highway 79 on Wednesday, March 4, following a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, authorities discovered that the perpetrators had already fled the scene, prompting an immediate canvassing of the area and the initiation of a preliminary investigation into the break-in.
