The champion of this March tournament secures two direct berths for their home region at the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), allowing those teams to bypass the Play-In stage entirely. Expanded Field: Powerhouses from the East

In a departure from previous years, the 2026 format has been expanded to include both finalists from the LCK Cup (Korea) and LPL Split 1 (China). This adjustment brings additional firepower to the tournament, featuring Korea’s dominant Gen.G and the aggressive BNK FearX, alongside China’s Bilibili Gaming and JD Gaming.
