The Return of Global PUBG Competition
Krafton has officially pulled back the curtain on the 2026 PUBG Global Series (PGS) Circuit 1, the first major milestone in the year's competitive calendar. The tournament, hosted offline in Seoul, South Korea, will feature a high-stakes three-week schedule. A total of 24 teams—comprising 12 Global Partner organizations and 12 regional qualifiers—will descend upon the South Korean capital to compete for a share of the $500,000 (~£376,325) prize pool. While the event will be held without a live audience, it serves as the foundational circuit for the 2026 season, which offers a cumulative $2 million in total prize money.
Introducing the 'Advantage Points' System
In a significant update to the competitive meta, Krafton is introducing "Advantage Points" for Circuit 1. This system is designed to reward consistent excellence during the early stages of a series. The top eight teams from the "Winner Stage" will carry bonus points into the "Final Stage," providing a buffer for the most dominant squads.
1st Place: 10 Points
2nd Place: 6 Points
