A "Beautiful" Biological Shift

Justin Theroux, 54, joined guest host Willie Geist on The Kelly Clarkson Show to discuss the arrival of his first child. Reflecting on the moment his son was born, Theroux described a visceral transformation, stating, "You do feel like your DNA just starts flipping in a different way the minute you lay eyes on him." The actor shared that he is currently enjoying the "new dad glow" and described the early days of parenthood as a "beautiful, beautiful thing" that is difficult to put into words.

The Challenge of "Sleep Training" vs. "Spoiling"

While his wife, Nicole Brydon Bloom, 32, is focused on the practicalities of newborn care, including sleep training, Theroux admitted he might be the "softie" in the household. "I'm going to be terrible in that I'm already wanting to spoil him rotten," he joked. The actor confessed that his paternal instincts make it difficult to resist pulling the baby into bed whenever he’s upset, noting that following through with strict routines will be his "hardest thing to resist."

Red Carpet Return and Life at Home

The couple hasn't let the arrival of their son completely slow them down. Just days after the birth, Theroux and Bloom made a stunning red-carpet appearance at the New York premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2. Bloom wore a black halter-neck Moschino gown, while Theroux opted for a classic navy suit. Back at home, the atmosphere is a mix of "quiet tiptoeing" and "occasional crying." Theroux also noted that his beloved pit bull, Kuma, is adjusting to no longer being an "only child."
