The Johannesburg Magistrates Court has officially postponed the case against the two men accused of murdering popular media personality Warrick Stock, widely known as DJ Warras. Mozambican national Armindo Pacula and taxi boss Vincent Majola made a brief appearance on Tuesday, April 1, 2026. The postponement was granted to allow the state more time to finalize the investigation and gather essential documentation required for a formal indictment. Both men have already spent four months in custody after being denied bail during their initial court appearances.

Charges of Premeditated Murder and Conspiracy

Both Pacula and Majola face severe charges, including premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder. In addition to these counts, Armindo Pacula faces a separate charge for being in South Africa illegally. The prosecution’s case centers on the fatal shooting of Stock in December 2025. The incident occurred outside Zambesi House in the Johannesburg Central Business District, a location where Stock was reportedly contracted to perform security and auditing services. The severity of the charges has kept the accused behind bars as the legal process unfolds.

State prosecutor Vincent Mochabela informed the court that several key pieces of evidence remain incomplete.
