Establishment of the Yellow Line Security Demarcation

The IDF has officially designated its current line of deployment in southern Lebanon as the "Yellow Line," a military demarcation intended to separate Israeli-controlled territory from Hezbollah-held areas. This boundary serves a similar function to the de facto line established in the Gaza Strip earlier this year. Military officials emphasized that while the ceasefire is technically in effect, the IDF retains the authority to take necessary self-defense measures. Destruction of Subterranean Infrastructure and Tunnel Shafts

In addition to neutralizing surface cells, the IDF conducted a targeted strike against a Hezbollah tunnel shaft south of the forward defense line. Military intelligence identified members of the militant group entering the underground infrastructure, which prompted a swift aerial response to destroy the facility. The 401st Armored Brigade has been tasked with deepening the destruction of terror infrastructure in the border region, particularly focusing on sites that could facilitate surprise attacks or long-range rocket launches.
