Coordinated Aerial and Naval Assaults
The Israeli Air Force conducted a massive wave of strikes over the last day, neutralizing dozens of strategic Hezbollah locations. According to military reports, the targets included hardened command centers, underground weapon storage facilities, rocket launchers, and anti-tank missile positions. Complementing the aerial campaign, the Israeli Navy launched targeted strikes from the Mediterranean, successfully destroying a significant Hezbollah munitions depot situated along the southern Lebanese coastline. These combined efforts are part of a broader strategy to degrade the group’s logistical capabilities and fire support networks.
Ground Engagements and Tactical Strikes
On the transition to ground operations, four IDF divisions—the 91st, 36th, 146th, and 162nd—have maintained high-intensity engagement with militant cells. In one specific instance, troops from the 91st “Galilee” Regional Division identified a Hezbollah cell moving through a rural sector and directed a precision strike to eliminate the threat. Simultaneously, the 36th Division intercepted three armed operatives traveling on motorcycles. Throughout these various skirmishes in southern Lebanon, at least 10 additional gunmen were confirmed killed by ground forces.
Discovery of Munitions and Infrastructure Destruction
As Israeli troops advance, they continue to uncover vast caches of weaponry hidden within civilian infrastructure and rural outposts. The 146th and 162nd divisions reported the discovery of numerous specialized weapons and the subsequent destruction of dozens of operational sites used for launching attacks into northern Israel. Engineers have been working to dismantle these positions to prevent their reoccupation. The military emphasizes that these localized raids are essential for clearing the border region of immediate threats to Israeli communities.
