Vigilante Recovery in Waltham
The incident began when Sarah Campbell and her two flatmates returned to their Waltham home to find it burglarized. Following a tip-off from a neighbor, Campbell located a nearby house where a trolley of their possessions had been taken. Rather than waiting for a police intervention, the three women decided to execute their own "search and recovery" mission.
The Confrontation
Upon arriving at the suspect's address, the flatmates encountered a woman wearing the stolen clothing and Ugg boots of one of the victims.
"Bad Cop" Strategy: Two of the flatmates used what they described as their "hardcore accents from the backwaters of Scotland" and Northern Ireland to demand their items back.
"Good Cop" Strategy: Campbell entered the house, where she found individuals rifling through their personal effects, including underwear. She used a "friendly" approach to ease the tension while successfully sneaking their belongings out of the house.
