Capitalizing on Financial Momentum for Growth

Zeal Network is preparing for a significant phase of international diversification following a fiscal year that exceeded market expectations. During the company’s 2025 earnings call, new CEO Dr. Stefan Tweraser revealed that the German lottery operator has secured a substantial "war chest" dedicated to fresh investment opportunities. This capital is intended to fuel the acquisition of additional social lotteries and facilitate the expansion of prize draw operations into new geographic territories. The company plans to unveil the specific details of these strategic moves later in 2026, marking a shift toward a more aggressive global footprint.

Financial Performance and Revenue Distribution

The organization reported a comprehensive revenue growth of sixteen percent, reaching a total of 218 million euros for the period. The lotteries division remains the primary engine of the business, accounting for eighty nine percent of total revenue and mirroring the company wide growth rate. Notably, the reported figures surpassed the high end of previous forecasts issued in September, while EBITDA hit 68.8 million euros. These results suggest that Zeal’s operational model is increasingly robust, with the gaming segment specifically posting a forty six percent revenue increase during the same timeframe.

Decoupling Acquisition from Jackpot Cycles

A critical development highlighted by CFO Andrea Behrendt is Zeal’s ability to grow its customer base in a "no-jackpot" environment. Traditionally, lottery brokerage is highly dependent on massive prize pools to drive registrations, but Zeal has successfully stabilized its acquisition strategy through increased digital marketing and strategic partnerships. New registered customers grew by seven percent to 1.2 million, while monthly active users in the lottery sector reached 1.6 million. This stability indicates that the brand's marketing playbook is successfully generating shareholder value independently of the volatile jackpot cycles that typically dictate industry performance.
