The Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, has officially landed at the headquarters of the Northwest Joint Task Force, known as Operation Fansan Yamma, located in the Zamfara State capital of Gusau. This marks the General’s maiden operational visit to the region since assuming his current role. Upon his arrival at the military installation, the Defence Chief was formally received by a high ranking delegation led by the Theatre Commander, Major General Warrah Idris, alongside several other senior officers attached to the ongoing regional operations.
