This marks the General’s maiden operational visit to the region since assuming his current role. Upon his arrival at the military installation, the Defence Chief was formally received by a high ranking delegation led by the Theatre Commander, Major General Warrah Idris, alongside several other senior officers attached to the ongoing regional operations.

Following his arrival, General Oluyede performed a formal inspection of the quarter guard, a traditional military protocol, before transitioning to the Theatre Command’s conference room.
