The Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has transitioned to a new executive leadership following a comprehensive state congress held this Saturday. Hon. Lanre Omolase, a prominent ally of former Governor Ayodele Fayose, secured the chairmanship in an exercise monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and various security agencies. Composition of the State Working Committee

Beyond the chairmanship, the congress produced a full slate of officials to manage the party's provincial affairs. Chief Tunde Ogunleye, a former state commissioner, was elected as Secretary, while Babatunde Akande assumed the role of Deputy Chairman.
