The Intelligence Case: Drones and Satellites
According to Western security sources and regional officials, the military cooperation between Moscow and Tehran has entered a "reciprocal" phase:
Satellite Imagery: Russia is allegedly providing real-time data to help Iran calibrate its missile and drone strikes against U.S. bases and Israeli targets.
Drone Upgrades: Technical assistance from Russia is helping Iran upgrade its drone fleet to emulate the "Geran-2" (Shahed) versions that Russia has refined through its four-year campaign in Ukraine.
Mutual Aid: European leaders highlighted that just as Iran fueled Russia’s war in Europe, Moscow is now returning the favor to destabilize U.S. operations in the Gulf.
