Massive Artillery Strikes on Bilozerka Infrastructure
A concentrated morning artillery assault by Russian forces targeted the community of Bilozerka, resulting in significant civilian casualties and the destruction of public property. According to the Kherson regional police, six local residents, with ages ranging from 43 to 81, sustained various degrees of injury during the barrage. The victims, comprised of three men and three women, are reportedly suffering from acute stress reactions, concussions, and severe blast injuries as medical teams work to stabilize their conditions.
Devastation of Local Medical and Educational Institutions
The strikes in Bilozerka were not limited to residential zones, as a local outpatient clinic suffered direct architectural damage from the heavy shelling. Reports indicate that the facility’s windows were shattered and its roof structure was compromised, hindering the immediate delivery of healthcare services in the area. Alongside the clinic, several educational and administrative buildings were caught in the crossfire, representing a deliberate or indiscriminate hit on the essential social fabric of the Kherson community.
Escalation of Violence in the Korabelnyi District
In a separate but simultaneous escalation, Russian artillery fire focused on the Korabelnyi district of Kherson city, targeting a densely populated urban sector. Law enforcement officials confirmed that two elderly women, aged 70 and 84, were wounded during the attack, sustaining mine-blast injuries and significant concussions. These targeted strikes on residential quarters emphasize the persistent threat to the region's most vulnerable populations who remain in the vicinity of the active frontline.
