The American Geriatrics Society (AGS) has officially announced the commencement of Dr. Alison A. Moore’s term as President during the 2026 AGS Virtual Annual Scientific Meeting. Dr. Moore, a prominent clinician-scientist, assumes the leadership of the nationwide professional organization at a critical juncture for public health and elder care. With a professional history at the AGS spanning over three decades, Dr. Moore has consistently focused on enhancing the quality of life for older populations.
