D-Fend Solutions, a leader in the rapidly growing field of counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS), has announced the successful closing of a 31 million dollar investment round. Led by Israel Growth Partners (IGP) with participation from Vertex Ventures and Vertex Growth, the funding is designed to accelerate the global deployment of the company's flagship EnforceAir technology. This capital infusion brings the firm's total funding to 67 million dollars, reflecting strong investor confidence in its unique approach to aerial security.

Unlike traditional drone defense systems that rely on kinetic force or disruptive signal jamming, D-Fend utilizes a non-destructive cyber-takeover method. By focusing on radio frequency (RF) protocols, the EnforceAir platform allows security teams to autonomously identify, locate, and take full control of rogue drones. This capability enables operators to land unauthorized aircraft safely in designated zones, ensuring that critical communications and infrastructure remain undisturbed during the process.

The demand for such technology has reached a fever pitch as rogue drone incidents continue to threaten sensitive environments including airports, prisons, and major public events. With its technology already active in nearly 30 countries, including several G7 and NATO member states, D-Fend is positioning itself as a critical infrastructure partner. The company's revenue has reportedly grown by more than 60 percent year-over-year, underscoring the massive market shift toward non-kinetic defense solutions.

Zohar Halachmi, CEO and Chairman of D-Fend Solutions, noted that the new funding will be instrumental in expanding the company's research and development capabilities. As drone manufacturers produce increasingly sophisticated and autonomous hardware, the security sector must evolve at an even faster pace. The investment will also support the company's expansion into new geographical territories and sectors, further solidifying its market leadership.

The deal also brings new strategic oversight to the company's board, with IGP General Partner Uri Erde joining the leadership team. Industry analysts suggest that the soft kill approach favored by D-Fend is becoming the gold standard for urban and civilian environments where the risks of collateral damage from traditional weapons are unacceptably high. As the company scales, its i...
