A Transnational Approach to Wealth Modernization
Citi Wealth has initiated a major technological shift by partnering with Advyzon Enterprise Solutions and Advyzon Investment Management to deploy a Global Unified Managed Account (UMA) program. This strategic move is designed to support various segments of the bank, including Citi Private Bank, Wealth at Work, and Citigold. By spanning a global footprint that includes North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC, the program represents a critical step in the bank's efforts to provide highly personalized advice. The integration of this platform is expected to simplify the investment experience for high net worth clients and their advisors simultaneously.
Unifying Diverse Investment Structures Under One Roof
The new UMA framework will serve as a central hub for a wide array of investment vehicles that were previously managed through disparate systems. According to company statements, the platform will bring together Exchange Traded Funds, Mutual Funds, Separately Managed Accounts, and alternative investments into a single, cohesive account structure. This consolidation is enhanced by the inclusion of market perspectives from Citi’s Chief Investment Office. Furthermore, the program will incorporate Citi Portfolio Solutions powered by BlackRock, a technical integration that was first announced in September 2025 to bolster the firm’s advisory capabilities.
Technological Innovation Through Artificial Intelligence
The selection of Advyzon followed a competitive search for a partner capable of delivering a scalable, AI-enabled Turnkey Asset Management Program (TAMP). The platform’s modern architecture provides advanced functionalities such as direct indexing, tax overlay, and sophisticated rebalancing tools. According to Keith Glenfield, the Head of Investment Solutions at Citi Wealth, the use of Advyzon’s agile and artificial intelligence powered technology is viewed as a genuine industry innovation. These tools are intended to streamline core advice offerings while providing a level of transparency and efficiency that traditional wealth management systems often lack.
