The Transition of Power
Mullin, 48, will oversee a massive federal department that includes:
Immigration & Enforcement: ICE and Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Security & Safety: TSA and the Secret Service.
Emergency Management: FEMA.
The confirmation saw a mostly partisan split, though Democrats John Fetterman (PA) and Martin Heinrich (NM) crossed the aisle to support Mullin. Only one Republican, Rand Paul (KY), voted against him.
