For six years, the store has functioned as a 24-hour resource built entirely on the honor system, allowing neighbors to purchase fresh produce and farm products by leaving payment in a cash box. According to Cannon, this recent intrusion represents a painful departure from the mutual respect that has historically defined her relationship with local patrons.

Surveillance Captures the Masked Intruder

Security footage obtained from the premises reveals the suspect entering the facility through a rear entrance shortly before 4:00 a.m. on March 11.
