According to the Bryan Police Department, the incident occurred on the stretch of highway between Boonville Road and MLK, a corridor often monitored for traffic violations. The force of the impact was so severe that one of the non racing vehicles was forced completely off the highway, rolling over before coming to a rest on the adjacent feeder road.
