The Aston Martin Formula 1 team has entered a period of extreme technical instability following a disastrous pre-season testing program. The AMR26 has been plagued by chronic unreliability from its Honda engine, resulting in more time spent in the garage than on the circuit. Technical Failures and Battery Complications

Honda has officially identified that excessive vibrations from the V6 internal combustion engine are the primary cause of the current crisis. These vibrations are reportedly triggering failures within the hybrid system’s battery, which is housed directly in the chassis.
