A Massive Crossover for Mech Enthusiasts
Electronic Arts (EA) has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Apex Legends x Gundam event will commence on March 10, 2026. This collaboration merges the high-octane battle royale gameplay of the Outlands with the storied legacy of the Japanese Gundam franchise. Running until April 14, the event will introduce nine unique Legend skins inspired by various mobile suits. Characters receiving these cosmetics include Crypto, Revenant, Gibraltar, Conduit, Mirage, Octane, Alter, and Valkyrie. Each individual skin is priced at 2,150 Apex Coins, roughly equivalent to $19.99.
Mythic Items and Weaponry
The event extends beyond character skins, touching upon the game's arsenal. Popular weapons such as the Kraber, R-99, and R-301 will receive Gundam-themed designs. For collectors, the collaboration introduces two new Mythic items: the Epyon Heat Rod and the Beam Saber. These premium cosmetics will be available through dedicated event packs. Furthermore, the event reward shop will offer an Epic "Sparrow" skin inspired by the legendary antagonist Char Aznable, alongside a variety of stickers, banners, and trackers.
The Wildcard Mode: Mech-Inspired Perks
A significant draw of the event is the transformation of the "Wildcard" game mode on the Broken Moon map. Players will have access to four new Gundam-inspired perks that drastically alter combat dynamics:
