Turning its attention to sub-national governance, the forum also threw its weight behind Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara. The group commended Fubara for navigating "intense political turbulence" with a measured and non-confrontational approach. Chief Awolabi noted that the Governor has successfully restored calm to the state while simultaneously pushing forward critical infrastructure projects, including road expansions designed to stimulate local commerce and connect previously isolated communities.
