New Locations and Leasing Details
Aldi is strategically backfilling vacancies left by big-box and entertainment closures, leveraging existing retail infrastructure to accelerate its rollout. The three new sites include:
Phoenix (Tatum Point): A 25,000-square-foot site at Tatum Boulevard and Bell Road. This location, secured via a 10-year lease, formerly housed a Big Lots.
Peoria (Peoria Station): A nearly 26,000-square-foot space at Peoria and 67th avenues. This 10-year lease takes over the site of the former Rush Fun Park.
Cave Creek (Cave Creek Gateway): A 19,000-square-foot unit at 51st Street and Carefree Highway. This 20-year lease is part of a new ground-up development.
While specific opening dates for these three stores have not been finalized, they represent a significant step toward the company's 2026 milestone of 2,800 total U.S. locations.
