The rebrand aims to simplify the programme while introducing new tiers and benefits for frequent flyers.
Tier Mapping: Existing members will see their status carry over directly. Airpoints Gold members will transition to Koru Gold.
The New Top Tier: The airline is introducing Koru Black, a level above Gold designed for its most frequent travelers.
Koru Circle: Koru Black members will gain access to "Koru Circle," allowing them to share travel benefits, upgrades, and rewards with friends or family.
Currency: Despite the name change, members will still earn and spend "Airpoints dollars" as they do currently.
