Chilling 911 Calls Report Multiple Gunshots
At approximately 1:19 p.m. local time on Sunday, LAPD dispatchers began relaying urgent information from a 911 caller situated at the pop star's residence. The caller, identified in police radio traffic as the "PR" or person reporting, informed authorities that about 10 shots had been heard originating from the street level near the estate's upper entrance. While the caller did not have a direct line of sight to the shooter at the moment of impact, the auditory evidence was sufficient to launch an immediate "Code 3" emergency response to the scene.
Identification of the Suspect Vehicle and Pursuit
The dispatch audio provides a specific description of the vehicle used in the alleged attempted murder: a white Tesla Model 3 equipped with paper license plates. The dispatcher noted the car appeared "dirty at the bottom" as it fled the Beverly Hills area. Descriptions broadcast to patrol units identified the driver as a Hispanic female with blonde hair styled in braids, wearing a cream-colored blouse. Initial reports over the radio also suggested the presence of a passenger involved in the discharge of the weapon, adding a layer of complexity to the ongoing RHD investigation.
High-Stakes Arrest at Sherman Oaks Galleria
Less than 30 minutes after the initial shots were reported, LAPD units successfully engaged in a vehicle pursuit that led to the Sherman Oaks Galleria Shopping Center. By 1:48 p.m., officers had cornered the white Tesla and initiated a high-risk traffic stop. Ivanna Ortiz was taken into custody without further violence. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a high-capacity assault rifle and seven spent shell casings, providing physical evidence that directly linked the car and its occupant to the ballistic damage found at the singer's home.
